Bible Verses

Imagine a perfect world where people have a beautiful relationship with God, having divine wisdom and feeling love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control all the time. You can live in this way. When you receive the Holy Spirit all these are deposited inside of you. Read ‘Life by the Spirit’ Galatians 5:13-26.

“As soon as Jesus was baptized, he went up out of the water. At that moment heaven was opened, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting on him” – Matthew 3:16.

Power of the Holy Spirit

“Then He opened their minds to understand the Scriptures, and He said to them, “Thus it is written, that the Christ would suffer and rise again from the dead the third day and that repentance for the forgiveness of sins would be proclaimed in His name to all the nations, beginning from Jerusalem. “You are witnesses of these things. “And behold, I am sending forth the promise of My Father upon you; but you are to stay in the city until you are clothed with power from on high,” told Jesus to their disciples – Luke 24:45

“I baptize you with water for repentance. But after me comes one who is more powerful than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.” – Matthew 3:11

Who is The Holy Spirit

“But when the Helper comes, whom I will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth, who proceeds from the Father, he will bear witness about me” – John 15:26, ESV

The Healing Power

Receive the healing because Lord Jesus paid the price for you – “He himself bore our sins” in his body on the cross so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; “by his wounds you have been healed”  – 1 Peter 2:24

Praise the Lord, my soul, and forget not all his benefits — who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion, who satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s” – Psalm 103:2-5

“If you listen carefully to the LORD your God and do what is right in his eyes, if you pay attention to his commands and keep all his decrees, I will not bring on you any of the diseases I brought on the Egyptians, for I am the LORD, who heals you” – Exodus 15:26

“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand” – Isaiah 41:10

“Whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these because I am going to the Father”  – John 14:12

Authority

When Jesus had called the Twelve together, he gave them power and authority to drive out all demons and to cure diseases, and he sent them out to proclaim the kingdom of God and to heal the sick” – Luke 9:1-2

The same authority is given to us today to heal the sick and cast out demons in His name.

“Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.  Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you” – Matthew 28:18-20

“Peter said, Silver or gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, walk” – Acts 3:6

“Whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven” – Matthew 18:18, NIV

Faith & Trust

“If you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you” – Matthew 17:20

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight” – Proverbs 3:5-6

“Seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well” – Psalm 37:23
